It is the flagship model of GE’s (now part of Baker Hughes) Hydran series products, specifically designed for real-time monitoring of the health of power transformers (as well as reactors, on-load tap changers, etc.), and can provide early warning of potential internal faults by detecting the early generation of key fault gases in the oil.
