It is a single-slot 6U single-board computer and a VME bus processor module suitable for embedded computing fields such as industrial automation.

• Hardware Configuration
  • Chipset: Adopts Intel 855GME/6300ESB chipset.
  • Processor: Can be equipped with Intel Pentium M 1.8GHz or Celeron M 1.5GHz processor, with a maximum of 2MB L2 cache.
  • Memory: Offers optional ECC DDR 266/333MHz memory in capacities of 256MB, 512MB, 1GB and 2GB.
• Storage Interfaces
  • EIDE Interface: Equipped with an EIDE Ultra 100 DMA controller, supporting up to three EIDE devices. It is compatible with XVME-977 and XVME-979 storage modules, and also has an optional on-board 1.8″ hard disk drive or flash memory carrier.
  • SATA Interface: Features two Serial ATA150 (SATA150) external device interfaces.
  • Floppy Disk Interface: Has a floppy disk interface, compatible with the XVME-977 mass storage module.
• Network Interface: Dual 10/100/1000base Ethernet interfaces, with optional front or rear connections. It supports 31.1 resume or rear Ethernet connections, and can also be used for rack-mounted Ethernet switches and failover technology.
• Expansion Interface: Includes one PMC slot, which can be expanded to an additional four daughter cards via the optional XVME-976/209 carrier board. The carrier board occupies an adjacent VME bus slot and is connected via a high-speed mezzanine connector.
• Video and Audio
  • Video: Supports VGA graphics. The front-panel and rear video refresh rate reaches 85Hz, with a maximum resolution of 1600×1200.
  • Audio: Provides line-level stereo input and output interfaces.
• Other Interfaces: Has two front-panel USB 2.0 ports and one rear USB 2.0 port, three RS-232/422/485 serial ports (BIOS optional). Among them, COM1 and COM3 are on the front, COM2 port is on the rear. It is also equipped with a parallel printer port (ECP and IEEE1284).
• Functional Features: Supports headless operation, which can be configured through “Serial Console Mode”, including BIOS settings. It has a long-duration watchdog timer, front-panel switches and reset status LEDs. It supports multiple operating systems such as Windows NT, Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
