Line Differential Protection: This core function compares the amplitude and phase of the currents at both ends of the line to quickly and selectively clear faults occurring at any point in the line. This is the ideal primary protection for protecting critical transmission lines.

Distance Protection: This provides backup protection by measuring the impedance of the fault point to determine the fault distance.

Circuit Breaker Failure Protection: This protection activates the backup tripping logic when the circuit breaker receives a trip command but fails to open.

Autoreclosing: For transient faults, it automatically attempts to reclose the circuit breaker after tripping to restore power.

Overcurrent Protection: This protection provides basic overcurrent and ground fault protection.
